Xanthe reviews 'Jenna's Truth' by Nadia L King

Recorded November 2016

'Jenna’s Truth' by Nadia L King is a sad, brutally honest, YA fiction book.

It ended happily, in the actual story itself, but when I found out the truth of what really happened, it made me feel very sad. I actually did cry at the end of the book.

I think the positive message in the book is to stand up for yourself, and tell someone what’s happening (if you are being bullied). Things can get better. In the story, no one knew what was happening to Jenna, so no one was able to support her.

I think the size and shape of the font would help make 'Jenna’s Truth' easier to read for people who find reading difficult, or people with blurred vision. The emotional concepts in the book make it harder to read. The book has really stuck with me. The only reason I wouldn’t read it again is because I don’t want to cry again.
