Mandurian Stories: Highly Commended, Unleashed Awards

Here is a short clip from the Unleashed Awards ceremony, held at Melbourne Town Hall.

I wish all of you could have attended, but I was grateful to be able to be there to accept the award on behalf of everyone who contributed to our awesome anthology.

You can read more about the awards night here.

I am so proud of what we are accomplishing for each other, and for our community, and I hope you are all as excited as I am about Mandurian Stories 2020!

Well done, Mandurian Storytellers, and congratulations to all of you!

I would also like to say thank you to the Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) for supporting young people all over Australia, including myself, in a variety of amazing ways.

Being part of the Unleashed Awards was a magical experience, and I really appreciated being able to attend.

By Xanthe Turner

Xanthe Turner loves drawing so much, she has developed callouses on her drawing hand, and is rarely seen without a sketchbook. Her natural habitat is a novel-filled bedroom.

In addition to illustrating (and publishing) books, Xanthe enjoys creating comics, fan art, sculptures, cosplay, and paintings. Xanthe plays guitar and piano (not at the same time) and her life goal is to befriend a sentient robot.
