Young ESTEAM Champion of the Year Award!
Tomorrow night is the Peel Bright Minds ESTEAM Award Ceremony.
I am very excited about this, not just because I am a finalist for the Young ESTEAM Champion of the Year Award, but because some of my favourite people are also finalists!
Peel Bright Minds are a wonderful organisation. They hold regular Science Cafés (which are very interesting!), and have organised great events like the Innovators Tea Party, a Q&A evening with The Naked Scientist, and lots more.
I am looking forward to tomorrow night, because I think it will be very inspiring to hear everyone speak. I will let you all know how it goes!
UPDATE - The Peel Bright Minds ESTEAM awards were a few weeks ago, but I forgot to post about it!
It was a great night, and I met a lot of really nice people, as well as seeing a few of my friends there, who were also nominated for awards. It was interesting hearing everyone speak, and the food was delicious. Peel Bright Minds wrote about it here.
Also, I won the Young ESTEAM Champion of the Year Award, which was both exciting and surprising!
It was a wonderful experience, and I am very grateful.
